In a groundbreaking development, the Gujarat state government is set to embark on the country's maiden submarine tourism venture, bridging the gap between spiritual pilgrimage and marine exploration. 

This transformative initiative, sealed through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Gujarat Government and Mazgaon Dockyard Limited (MDL), promises an immersive experience for tourists eager to delve into the enchanting world beneath the waves.

Exploring Bet Dwarka : A Marine Marvel : 

This pioneering project centers around the exploration of Bet Dwarka, a serene island off the coast of Dwarka, entwined with the legends of Lord Krishna. 

Mirroring the infamous Titanic submersible expedition, this initiative is set to launch before Diwali 2024, offering tourists the unprecedented opportunity to submerge 100 meters below the sea's surface. 

A Submarine Journey Like No Other : 

The planned submarine, weighing approximately 35 tonnes, is designed to accommodate 30 passengers. 

With two rows of seating for 24 passengers, each boasting a panoramic window view, the vessel will be navigated by two experienced pilots and a professional crew. 

This carefully crafted arrangement ensures that every passenger enjoys a mesmerizing underwater spectacle. 

Anticipated to boost employment, investment, and tourism in the region, this project signifies a major leap forward for Gujarat.

Anticipating the Unveiling: Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit : 

As the project gains momentum, an official announcement is anticipated at the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit. 

Managing Director of Gujarat Tourism, Saurabh Pardhi, envisions this unique endeavor as a catalyst for tourism in Dwarka, known for its religious significance and the revered Dwarkadhish Temple, a sacred pilgrimage site for Hindus.
