Russia's support for countries in the Global South to maintain political and economic sovereignty was highlighted, emphasizing a positive agenda and constructive interstate dialogue.

Jaishankar's discussions with Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov centered on enhancing trade and economic cooperation between India and Russia. 

The focus included trade, investment, financial and banking sectors, energy security, and crucial industrial projects.

The visit witnessed significant milestones, including the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Russian and Indian healthcare surveillance bodies, further solidifying the collaborative efforts between the two nations.
