Eligibility Criteria for IB Recruitment 2023 : 

To apply for the IB Recruitment 2023, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

You must have passed Matriculation (10th class) or equivalent from a recognised board.

You must possess a domicile certificate of the state against which you have applied.

If you are applying for the SA/MT post, you must also have:

A valid driving license for Motor Cars (LMV) issued by the competent authority.

Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (You should be able to remove minor defects in the vehicle).

Experience of driving a motor car for at least one year after obtaining a valid driving license.

Selection Process for IB Recruitment 2023 : 

The selection process for the IB Recruitment 2023 consists of two stages: 

Tier-I and Tier-II. The details of each stage are as follows:

Tier-I: This is an online objective test of 100 marks, comprising of four sections: General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical/Analytical Ability, and English Language. 

Each section will have 25 questions of one mark each. The duration of the test will be one hour. 

There will be a negative marking of one-fourth mark for each wrong answer. No marks will be awarded for an un-attempted question. 

The questions marked as ‘mark for review’ by the candidates will not be considered for evaluation. 

The candidates have to appear in Tier-I at one of the five centres allotted to them out of their choice of five cities. 

The cut-off marks for Tier-I will be decided by the MHA based on the number of vacancies and the number of candidates appearing in the test.

Tier-II: This is a skill test of 50 marks, comprising of two parts: Driving Test and Motor Mechanism.

The Driving Test will be of 40 marks, in which the candidates will have to drive a motor vehicle as per the directions of the instructor. 

The Motor Mechanism will be of 10 marks, in which the candidates will have to demonstrate their knowledge of motor mechanism and ability to carry out minor repairs of the vehicle. 

The duration of the skill test will be 30 minutes. The candidates who qualify in Tier-I will be called for Tier-II. The final selection will be based on the combined performance of the candidates in Tier-I and Tier-II.

How to Apply for IB Recruitment 2023 : 

The applicants are advised to apply only through online registration by logging on to the MHA’s website or the NCS portal only. 

The online application process involves the following steps:

Registration: The candidates have to register themselves by providing their basic details such as name, date of birth, email id, mobile number, etc. 

They will receive a registration number and password on their registered email id and mobile number.

Filling up the application form: 

The candidates have to log in with their registration number and password and fill up the online application form by providing their personal, educational, and other details. 

They have to choose the post they are applying for and the state they belong to.

Uploading the documents: 

The candidates have to upload the scanned copies of their photograph, signature, domicile certificate, driving license (if applicable), and other relevant documents as per the specifications given in the notification.

Payment of the application fee: 

The candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty only) through online mode using debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. 

The candidates belonging to SC/ST, Ex-servicemen, and female candidates are exempted from paying the fee.

Submission of the application form: 

The candidates have to submit the online application form after verifying all the details and documents. 

They will receive a confirmation message and email on their registered mobile number and email id. 

They can also take a printout of the application form for future reference.
