The requests escalated, culminating in an advance salary payment of Rs 2.4 lakh.

The scammers, it seems, went to great lengths to establish credibility. They created a fake email address and phone number posing as the Vice President of Human Resources of the global carmaker. Additionally, they fabricated a website for the recruitment facilitator company, weaving a web of deception around the victim.
